Movies and another BBQ at my house!

Again, this is another wonderful day, my cousin is turning 4 and having all the kids over had been insane!
Some were running around the house. Others were sneaking in my room. the last part wasn’t funny because i had to kick out many of them! what i can say my room always seen a forbidden place for them lol. Also, i had the chance to use the slide hehehe i am a kid again. well my friends and family like to pray about the fact that i never had a childhood 
It has been the coolest time because it makes me remember when she was six months older and i start to take care of her. Time seems to go really fast and people keep coming in and out of my life. Some much food and a new playground for me for this summer!
After i had to organize the kitchen…… it wasn’t funny but well someone had to pick up the mess instead of being with 10 kids running up and down…..
Now finishing with this activity i gotta have the chance to watch a couple movies:
1.twilight
2.George of the jungle
3. The cat on the hat doctor seuz

Bowling, Movies and Mini-golf

Good to go! i am so glad i woke up in a great mood! wanting to see all my friends again but well getting to know the ones who are still in champaign. I called my friend maria. I told her “lets get together and so something fun” Then I asked her when was the last time that you went to play bowling and mini-golf. She answered “Long-Time ago”. We met up at her house. We went to Western Bowl Inc that is located at 917 Francis Dr, Champaign - (217) 359-1678. There we played for one hour. the good thing was that i got my ass kicked out by her because she won the game. After that we went to play mini golf. It was 330pm and so hot. The 18 holes were the funniest ones because we didn’t know how to play really well………..
After a while, we went to campus for a walk. There my friend didnt know where the union was? so i decided to show her around. She was really excited because next semester she was attending UIUC. 
The summer time is for relaxing……….

After many months complaining of cold. We finally start to enjoy the weather. People start to do cookouts, exercise, go to the pool, tang and others. Today, before memorial day we decided to make a cookout, we made pinchos “those are sticks of different kinds of meet with onions and tomatoes”, potatoes, sausages, and a cool and sweet lemonade. While we were putting together the pinchos, i was trying to organize the patio. After 20 minutes of hard job. I ended up meeting a couple bumble bees which are really disgusting to me. I suddenly came back running into the house because i was scared.
My aunt told me to come outside and help to put everything because the food was ready. Everyone was sitting in the patio talking about how we are missing this type of activities in Colombia. Also, my cousin was excited, i would say “starving” because it was going to be the first time eating meat sticks………………

Hello, my name is nataly briceno guerrero, i have been 3 years at parkland college. My experience as a foreign here has made grown as a better person. Parkland College has become my family after being away for so long of my family. Since the first day, people have gotten involved in every step of my learning process, especially English because i never studied when i was in Colombia, which is my home country.
I started with the English as Second Language program at the C155 room with Wendy Patrickin and Annia H who were willing to deal with outgoing and out of usual person (i mean me lol). I met my first friends who understood how i was feeling so we start to hang out and enjoy this new start in a new country a culture.
After the first semester, i start to feel confident to go out and find new ways to meet people. My first idea was to get involved in a dance team. I went to the illini union there i saw an add where people can learn how to dance latin American dance such as merenge, bachata, salsa, and others.
